Tired of taking several hours to apply your lash extension sets?! I hear you and I've been there!! When it takes more than an hour and a half to apply a new set of lash extensions, that's just miserable for you and your client. My first few sets of lash extension sets took me almost 4 hours to complete! UGHhhh......no fun for anyone! So in my many years of lashing, I have figured out some very simple adjustments you can make to cut that lash set time in half! Let's jump right into the Goods!!

Having everything organized and right next to you will definitely help you to speed up your lash extension time because you won't be fumbling around looking for things during your lash session. On the second row of my cart, I have the lashes lined up from shortest length to longest so when I need to reload my lashing tray, I can easily grab it, reload it, and keep going!

The other great thing about having a lash cart is it keeps all your lashing supplies together. In my own office I have a lashing Cart, A Waxing and Tinting Cart and a Facial Cart so it makes it super easy to switch from one treatment to the next! Next is your set up! Have everything step up and ready on your Rolling Tray before your client arrives. I like to have my tape ripped and ready and my glue shaking in my Glue Shaker.....Oh that's another tip! A Glue Shaker! Save your wrist and time by investing in a Glue Shaker!

Okay Biggest Tip to Speed up your Lash Set Time, Coming your Way!! When I learned this trick, it literally cut my lash set time down significantly and that is to lash from the four-head and to use a Glue Ring. A lot of lash artists like to lash from the side which works fine but you really waste a lot of time moving from the clients lashes to the side of their head and then to the jade stone for the glue and then finally back to the clients lashes to place the lash. Lashing from the four-head puts your entire work area right in front of you so you're not wasting time or getting dizzy moving around all over the place!

Another tip is to use double sided sticky tape and a business card to place your lash strips on. You can make individual cards for each client and it's easy to move the card across the cloth on your clients four-head!

Check out how to speed up your lash set time here! Another tip is when lashing, move from eye to eye. Do not do one eye at a time. Place 3-4 lashes on one eye and then 3-4 lashes on the other eye. You can create an even lash set and encase your client needs to leave early for any reason, they won't have a lop sided lash set. Also, if you're running out of time, you can fill in the holes and make the set look even without having to lash every single lash

Last tip that will really help you speed up your lash sets and keep you on track is to a use a timer! I always set my timer for 1 hour. When it goes off, I take another 15-20 minutes to fill in any holes and finish off the set! It really is helpful in making sure you don't get obsessed and go way over time. Remember!! Most Clients do not want to be laying there for more than an hour and a half!! I've had several new clients come to me because their former lash artist would take too long and they would start to feel anxious.... so don't get obsessed with lashing every single lash:
