I'm feeling a bit of writers block so I'm just going to start with my own experience of feeling stuck and what I have learned along my journey.😄 One thing I have learned is that the journey never ends. You reach one goal and not too long after that, another goal or dream is created and it just goes on and on and on and on...... So what I have learned is that the secret to your happy path is to learn to really enjoy the process and the journey and to feel all the things you're trying to feel now, don't wait! And know that there is no goal you can achieve that will give you satisfaction permanently for the rest of your life. Be happy now in the process! A great example of this is actually this blog.😉 I have a dream or goal of being a successful blogger. I love the idea of sitting at the beach writing blog posts, enjoying my life and family and feeling like I'm a successful blogger. Well I decided to just do that! We go to the beach often and I sit and I type out blog posts♥ My brain wants to tell me that I can't feel the satisfaction from it that I want to feel because it's not a "successful" blog yet. Not a whole lot of people read my blog posts and I don't monetize very much money from my posts yet although I do a little! But what actually defines a"Successful" blog? I'm enjoying what I'm doing and I'm doing it!!! I consciously decided that I was going to feel all the things that I was wanting to feel. I am a blogger and I write blog posts every week and I love it!! Whether people read it or how much I monetize from it doesn't need to determine the joy I receive from the process! It also helps that I truly believe that one day it will be a successful, monetizing blog which just adds a cherry on top to the fun of the whole process!
So What's Next In My Own Journey?
I've been through quite the journey and process the last several years. I'm into 41 years of my life journey and to quickly sum it up, I was a full time stay at home mom for about 10 years which was a huge blessing that I was able to do that. In the process of being at home in the house for so long, I lost a bit of my confidence and started to really struggle with a lot of anxiety and depression, which unfortunately is way too common these days. I was in a real funk. I knew that I needed to do something other than what I was doing so I decided to learn how to do Eyelash extensions which was the beginning of an amazing life changing and life saving journey for me.
Since then, I created a whole lash business, went to school and became a licensed esthetician, created online courses and became a lash trainer and blogger. So what's next, you ask? I'm sure you don't really care but I'm going to tell you anyway😁 Well because I am a total podcast junkie and my favorite podcasts are typically life coach podcasts and they all talk often about creating and living that dream life and creating a business that's successful and fulfilling. I love all of that! Listening to those podcasts really is what has helped to get me where I am today. Ever since I started doing lash extensions 7 years ago, I have had to see people and talk to people and really push myself out of my comfort zone. Podcasts helped me to build my confidence and learn how to work with people and control my self talk. I've also been able to create my own online courses, and since doing that, I started to wonder if I really wanted to still see clients and if instead I would rather just focus on my online business and stop seeing clients all together. This was about 8 months ago that I started to contemplate this idea. I'm a big believer in God so I started praying and asking if that was what I should do. As my answers from God typically go, He slowly helped me see what would be best for me. I took a break from work as we traveled quite a bit during Thanksgiving and Christmas and I realized some things. First is that I want to spend time with my family and not be distracted as I have been for the past several years. Second, I have everything I need and there is no need for me to go out and try and build a million dollar online business. Third, I like seeing clients and I should see clients. I've always felt strongly that interacting, being with and helping other women is part of my purpose in this life, although sometimes I forget:) It makes me happy, holds me accountable, challenges me, and also serving and seeing clients brings me so much joy and fulfillment. And to top it all off, it is where I've always made the most money😄 I have learned though that I must keep it in balance. Too much work takes the fun out as well as takes me away from my main purpose which is my family. Another confirmation and answer to prayers is that I was able to have my own spa room built out this past month with its own washer and sink! Previously, I've shared a spa room with someone which was great but I'm super excited to have my own room with additional possibilities!

I'm going to be able to start adding scalp facials and hair blow outs to my list of services which will be great for many reasons! Firstly because I always like to switch things up and try new things. Second, this opens up a whole new clientele so I can see people that are not interested in lash extensions. Also, I'll be meeting new people all the time! Lastly, scalp facials are very profitable and I can make more money seeing less clients and spending less time.

That's my old room upstairs that I used to share. We're still figuring out the power situation hence the extension cord going into the upstairs room.😄
One last picture, my new, little under the stairs, cubby office!! Where I'm sitting right now typing out this post!☺

So that's my story of overcoming stuckness and where I'm at now, if you're still around.☺
Now lets dive into some actual facts and tips on how to get out of a rut if you're in one.
Signs that Indicate You're Feeling Stuck
Feeling stuck often stems from a lack of fulfillment or satisfaction in certain areas of our lives. It could be in our careers, relationships, or personal growth. Maybe you feel like you're in a dead-end job, or you're stuck in a routine that no longer brings you joy. Whatever the reason, it's important to identify the root cause of your dissatisfaction. The signs of feeling stuck is crucial in order to address the issue and move forward. Some common signs include a sense of boredom or restlessness, a feeling of being trapped or unfulfilled, and a lack of motivation or enthusiasm for life. You may find yourself daydreaming about a different life or constantly comparing yourself to others who seem to have it all figured out.
The Importance of Taking Action
Once you've acknowledged that you're feeling stuck, the next step is to take action. It's easy to get caught up in analysis paralysis or the fear of making the wrong decision, but staying stagnant won't bring you any closer to finding your happy path. Taking action is crucial for personal growth and discovering new opportunities.
By taking action, you are actively participating in shaping your own destiny. It may feel uncomfortable at first, but remember that growth happens outside of your comfort zone. Whether it's making a career change, starting a new hobby, or seeking out new experiences, taking that first step is essential in unlocking your full potential. Get comfortable being uncomfortable!
Before you can move forward, it's important to assess your current situation. Take a moment to reflect on where you are in life and what areas are causing the most dissatisfaction. Is it your job? Your relationships? Your personal development? By identifying the areas that need improvement, you can begin to formulate a plan to address them.
Identifying Your Passions and Interests
One of the keys to finding your happy path is discovering what truly brings you joy. Take some time to reflect on your passions and interests. What activities make you lose track of time? What topics do you find yourself constantly researching or discussing with others? Identifying these passions and interests can guide you towards a more fulfilling path.
Once you've identified your passions, find ways to incorporate them into your daily life. Whether it's through a career change, a new hobby, or volunteering, pursuing your passions will bring a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
Setting Goals and Creating a Plan
Now that you have a better understanding of your current situation and your passions, it's time to set goals and create a plan. Start by setting both short-term and long-term goals that align with your passions and interests. These goals should be specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART goals).
Creating a plan will help you stay focused and motivated on your journey to finding your happy path. Break down your goals into actionable steps and set deadlines for each milestone. Remember, it's okay to adjust your plan along the way as you gain more clarity about what truly brings you happiness.
Seeking Guidance and Support
Embarking on a journey to find your happy path can be challenging, and it's important to seek guidance and support along the way. Surround yourself with like-minded individuals who can offer advice, encouragement, and accountability. Consider finding a mentor or joining a support group to help you navigate through any obstacles or self-doubt that may arise.
Additionally, don't be afraid to seek professional help if needed. A life coach or therapist can provide valuable insights and tools to help you uncover your true potential and overcome any limiting beliefs.
Exploring New Opportunities and Taking Risks
In order to unlock your happy path, you must be willing to explore new opportunities and take risks. It's easy to stay within your comfort zone, but growth and fulfillment often lie just outside of it. Be open to trying new things, whether it's taking on a new project at work, traveling to a new destination, or learning a new skill.
Taking risks can be scary, but it's through these experiences that we grow and discover new passions and interests. Embrace the unknown and trust that every step you take is leading you closer to finding your happy path.
Overcoming Fear and Self-Doubt
Fear and self-doubt are common roadblocks on the journey to finding your happy path. It's natural to feel uncertain and fearful of the unknown. However, it's important not to let these emotions hold you back. Acknowledge your fears and self-doubt, but don't allow them to dictate your decisions.
To overcome fear and self-doubt, practice self-compassion and positive self-talk. Remind yourself of your strengths, past accomplishments, and the progress you've already made. Surround yourself with positivity and inspiration, whether it's through books, podcasts, or supportive friends and family.
Embracing the Journey and Finding Your Happy Path
Finding your happy path is not a destination; it's a lifelong journey. Embrace the ups and downs, the successes and failures, and the lessons learned along the way. Remember that happiness is not a final destination, but rather a state of being like I mentioned in the beginning.
As you navigate through life, continue to reassess your goals, passions, and interests. Be open to change and growth, and don't be afraid to pivot if something no longer brings you joy. Trust yourself and the journey you're on, and know that you have the power to create a life filled with happiness and fulfillment.
So, if you're feeling stuck and unsure of what to do next, remember that the power to unlock your happy path lies within you. Take action, assess your current situation, identify your passions, set goals, seek guidance, explore new opportunities, overcome fear and self-doubt, and embrace the journey as well as finding Joy Now! Your happy path awaits, and it's up to you to take the first step. Cheers!
